Barbara Jakschik award
Moshi Song has been selected as the 2015 recipient of the Barbara Jakschik Award. This annual award is given by the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences to recognize an outstanding female graduate student in her final year of doctoral research whose thesis has focused on the general area of metabolic regulation. She was selected because of her many past accomplishments and ability to make many contributions to science in the future. Congratulations Moshi!

2014 Distinguished Scientist award
The Distinguished Scientist designation was created in 2003 to honor AHA/ASA members who have made extraordinary contributions to cardiovascular and stroke research. This title recognizes Dr. Dorn’s seminal research work that has importantly advanced our understanding and management of cardiovascular disease or stroke.
